Tried the salmon bento box and it was so satisfying — fresh, well-portioned, and full of flavor. The sushi was great too, and I really appreciated that they have tasty vegetarian sushi options as well. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend it.

My husband and I were curious about this place since we love all kinds of Asian cuisine. We finally gave it a try, and it was wonderful! We shared the coconut prawns and each got a bento box. We were very happy with all of our food. Our favorite parts were the coconut prawns and chicken teriyaki. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back again soon!

Great news!!! They're back. For those of you who used to frequent the bento box in Bellevue over by Sears, the family that owned them has moved to a new location here in Woodinville. The food and service are as good if not better than before, and the decor is much more modern and brighter. It's great having a place like this to go for a quiet Saturday night dinner.

We were walking to a different restaurant, but then noticed this new Japanese one… opened two weeks now. We thought the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our new “go to” place! Started with the Firecracker Roll and Miso soup…. The bottled Orion Draft beer from Okinawa was super good with this sushi roll. Then we had the Spicy Chicken and Teriyaki Salmon with veggie and shrimp Tempura. Yummy! So stuffed! Can’t wait to return!

This is one of my favorites! We've been going here since it was in Bellevue/Redmond and were so sad when it closed. It's so great to have them back! Always recommend the katsu and salmon teriyaki. Miso is great and the salad dressing is just right. Hope the curry will make an appearance on the menu again someday! New location is a nice improvement over the old place. Parking was simple enough. Already planning what I'll have next time!

Very nice Japanese style restaurant with tasty options. I had a Bento lunch with Katsu. Chicken was a bit thin, but still tasty.

We're so happy that Bento Box has reopened at a new location! The food is fantastic and I love being able to have a little bit of several items. My go-to order is the chicken teriyaki bento box. It comes with salad, miso soup, rice, gyoza, and a choice of either sushi or tempura. Good value for the price and the staff is very nice.

TL;DR: proportions are just right for light appetites, but the price point doesn't reflect that, I expect more Parking: free street side, garage, and shared lot in the area if you don't mind walking. Atmosphere: Jazzy music quietly playing in background. Dimly lit, soft lighting at night. Cafe-like seating area with about 10 different tables. Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, order at the table, check brought to you. Menu: Pictureless, simple descriptions. Kid Friendliness: High chairs, kids utensils (even chopsticks), plastic cup with lid and straw available. Tables are smooth for suction bowl use! Only two kids menu options (chicken teriyaki or chicken katsu bentos). Chicken Katsu Bento: the miso soup that it comes with was flavorful and had some small cubes of tofu. The katsu had a nice crispy coating and was not overly greasy. Salad was refreshing and the salmon and cucumber roll tasted fresh but was a little heavy on the rice. Kid's Teriyaki Bento: nice kid sized proportions but most kids don't eat the salad I would presume so I think steamed broccoli or veggie tempura would be a better side option. The chicken was nice and tender. Does not come with miso soup.
